Raised in Noble County, Jason has spent his entire adult life engaged in mentoring and coaching youth in various sports including baseball, basketball, wrestling, and football.
In 2005, he established several youth travel baseball and basketball teams and went on to eventually coach baseball at Central Noble and East Noble High Schools in the early and mid 2010’s. His marriage to wife Whitney in 2010 has resulted in two children Lexi and Parker, who are both active in athletics.
Hit The Field Sports began in 2014 after several travel teams in Northern Indiana grew to appreciate Jason’s passion to youth baseball in the area. The first two tournaments in 2014 were held in Avilla Indiana with all subsequent tournaments taking place at the stunning Kendallville Outdoor Recreational Complex in cooperation with the City of Kendallville ever since.
