Kendallville Outdoor Recreational Complex is a popular destination for baseball, softball, soccer, and other outdoor sports enthusiasts. As a municipal facility, the complex joins two other city parks to create a wonderful recreational opportunity for residents and visitors alike.
Directly adjacent to the sports complex is Bixler Lake Park which hosts two public beaches, several pavilions and picnic areas, a powered campground with dumping station and several hiking trails. The park system includes an 18 hole disc golf course, a bow target practice area, licensed fishing and small boat ramp.
The complex includes full service concessions, heated restrooms, a playground for younger visitors, pavilions, full size soccer fields, basketball courts, and convenient bleachers for fan seating. The 8 fields for competition are supported by 3 practice fields directly across the street from the complex entrance.
The complex is host to live music and other family events during warmer weather months.
